HISTORY OF NoLIMIT CLAN In the third year preceding the third age of man.
They were called MasterPcp3 and Scorp99, a pair of visionaries emerged. and the two dreamed of a gaming world led by a group of elite.
These were the founders, the great thinkers, the dreamers that begot this clan from its nothingness. Little did they know how their vision would expand past its original limitations. So they called together those who believed in their dream and gathered them under one flag, the flag of NoLimit.
The early years of the clan were the ones of usually unparalelled growth, as NoLimit began in the arena of a new game with many fresh and unaffiliated recruits looking for a home. NoLimit eventually co-dominated the realm of Battlezone, along with the MAD clan.
The MAD clan is one that deserves particular attention in the history books of this clan for they were a honorable and skilled group, who exemplified the same standards we uphold here at NoLimit. The two were the main driving force behind the gameplay of Battlezone on this server, and one always kept the other in check. Then emerged a new battlestandard on these fields of war, the LoC clan, a clan that will live in infamy. They deserve less attention in these sacred halls, but will be mentioned as to pattern the path of uneasiness we shared.
Then, most of the MAD clan moved to another game. Their current stats is unknown, but it is most likely the clan met with oblivion. The remaining two grew in size and strength, and time passed. At about this time, a clan which was growing in strength and skill, the SKY clan, fell to pieces due to some lack of communication and active leadership.
Then emerged the Black Watch, a clan with members broken away from MAD and joining up from SKY. They were a small and wandering group led by a visionary named LTROGUE. They too deserve a significant mention in our history, because they play an active role in it even until today. They would soon start to grow at a decent pace as all young clans do, but were not highly reguarded when compared to the two older established clans. After a short time, NoL began to weaken. Our glorious leader, MasterPcp3, vanished, as circumstances took him away from his beloved clan. Scorp immediately stepped in and things, for the most part, returned to normal. But this was but a brief moment, as Scorp99 fell unfortunately to disenchantment with the status of the clan.
NoL began to falter, to stumble, and to look as if it would meet the same fate as SKY. However, an extraordinary man stepped in to lead us once again to our former position. That man's name was Pinkpony, the first member of NoL. With Stealthtank and Merlin at his side, his leadership began the golden age of NoL. Men were attracted to him, and to our clan, and so we grew in size, in skill, and in organization.
New reforms began which more efficiently organized the clan. The old ways were cast off and a new generation of NoL began, a truly glorious time. This was a wonderful, and fortunately prolonged period for NoL, during which time, Antix, our current leader, joined the clan. At this time, a brief conflict was found between NoL and LoC, which died down soon enough. After this, LoC went into what they termed "hibernation" and remained hidden until they moved the entire clan to a new game. The clan nearly met with annhialation, and it is rather unfortunate that their standard still stands today. As luck would have it for them, they would go on to become extremely skilled in their new game of choice, but their attitudes would grow in pomposity as well. They do not play an active role with this clan any longer. It is not to be understood that every person in the clan was a complete imbacile, but the sparse and unfortunate decent members were outweighed by the unwholesome values that LoC stood for. A short time after, our great founder, MasterPcp3 returned to his beloved clan, and prepared once again to lead us to victory after victory. However, he was not quite ready to assume command once more, but his return was lauded with much approval. After this, tragedy struck. Our great leader and savior, Pinkpony vanished without notification. Stealthtank was nowhere to be found, and Merlin was unfortunately not in any position to take charge. It was a time of distraught, and things were held together by something unknown. As luck would have it, NoL survived its darkest hour, and MasterPcp3 came back to put things to their proper order. At this time, Antix was nearly expelled from the clan on the grounds of a very large misunderstanding, but which fortunately set him straight on his path that has led to greater responsibility. With the return of MasterPcp, the clan's organizational structure was optimized, and we readied for expansion in our third year of existance. Chuckster was placed in command of our Battlezone forces. We attempted various expansions to numerous games, but all but one ended in complete failure. Antix was eventually put in charge of the new Age of Empires division, and it was kept at an unfortunately stagnant rate for quite some time, due to some earlier mistakes by the initial leaders of the division. After this, an attempt was made to merge a clan into NoL that would become our Half-Life division. The division ran fairly well and became rather powerful for quite some time. However, due to some unfortunate mishap, the entire division collapsed. It was split along two lines and each one formed its own clan, entirely separate from NoL. It was an unfortunate happening. During the time of the growth of our Half-Life division, Chuckster resigned his post as Game Commander and was replaced by Longrange, who currently holds this position. After this, the clan moved nowhere. Members became complacent and new recruits were scarce all around. MasterPcp3 was unable to continue his duties as actively as he would have wished. Therefore, he resigned and left command of the clan to Antix. Raistlin was promoted to command the Age of Empires division, and it currently fairs well under his leadership, and Zephyrus was enlisted to advise Antix in matters concerning this faltering clan. At the time, the clan was failing severely. Antix was hard pressed to do something or he faced commanding nothing at all. The Genesis plan emerged, and is now in its final stages. It seems to be a complete success, and has managed to organize and restablize the clan. We move now to rebuild our former glory that was lost when the Half-Life division fell, as it rises from its ashes once again like the Phoenix. Goaman leads us into the uncertainty of the creation of a new division, and hopes are high for the third generation of NoLimit. Our fourth year of existance is bright with promise. We have become a phenomenon that cannot be turned back or quelled by anyone or anything. New leaders emerge to lead our members. We must NOT forget those brave men and women who serve under them, and yet with them, the members of the NoLimit Clan who make us what we are. We fight, we struggle, and we survive. We shall for many years to come, and anything that stands in our way shall be crushed. We are those who boldly proclaim, "NoLimit for Life!
